It can be very frustrating when you either can't afford a WAV at all or could do with a little extra to help upgrade to the right vehicle for your needs. You'd be amazed at the number of organisations willing to step in and provide help through grants etc. A bit further down is a list of websites to visit for more information.

I appreciate that the sheer volume of information can be daunting. However the flip side is that with so much help available your chances of success are much greater. You don't need to contact all the organisations at once-just work your way through the info methodically. Finally, remember that a combination of help from different organisations might just get you where you want to be. Good luck!

p.s. Some of the information that you find may not be solely aimed at financial help but may still prove invaluable. Putting this page together was a real eye opener for me with regard to my son, Rory. There really is a lot of support out there.
